Room Rates
Our room rates vary throughout the year depending on season and availability.

We have introduced a 2 night minimum stay for all of our rooms.
Based on availability, one night stays may become possible, please call to enquire.
Weekend 2-Night Minimum Stay
To ensure a relaxed and unhurried experience for all our guests, we operate a two-night minimum stay on weekends across our bedrooms.
From time to time, depending on availability closer to the date, selected rooms may be released for one-night stays. These will appear on our online booking calendar, or you are very welcome to contact us directly to enquire.
Children
Children are very welcome at Ambleside Manor. We are happy to provide a cot and highchair upon request.
Rooms 14 and 15 are our family rooms, each featuring adjoining bedrooms for added comfort and space. Child rates (when sharing a room with at least two adults):
Under 2 years: Complimentary
2–12 years: £30 per night
Pets
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our ground floor rooms (Rooms 2–6) for an additional charge of £10 per dog, per night.
To ensure the comfort of all guests, dogs are not permitted in the dining or breakfast room, or in the guest lounge. We kindly ask that dogs are kept off the beds.
About our rooms
The Manor offers 15 en-suite bedrooms, including:
• 3 Suites
• 2 Family Rooms
• 5 Superior Rooms
• 4 Standard Rooms
• 1 Single Room
All rooms are furnished to a consistently high standard.
Our Superior Rooms offer additional space and views over the grounds and surrounding fells. Suites are our most spacious accommodation, with separate seating areas for added comfort.
Across the house, we feature a combination of super king, king size and double beds, with selected rooms available in twin configuration. Please refer to our room descriptions and gallery for further details, or contact us if you would like assistance choosing the most suitable room.
Electric Vehicles
Two EV charging points are available on site. To use the chargers, please download the Tap Electric app prior to arrival.
Booking Terms
Check-in: 3pm – 6pm
Late self check-in can be arranged for arrivals between 6pm and 10pm.
Check-out: Before 11am
Rates are valid until March 2026 and include VAT.
A non-refundable deposit of £50 per room is required at the time of booking.
Gift vouchers used at the Manor will be honoured regardless of expiry date. Please note that vouchers are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, the deposit remains non-transferable.
For cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival, the cost of the first night's stay will also be charged.
We strongly recommend that guests arrange appropriate travel insurance, as we are unable to make exceptions in the event of cancellation or curtailment.
Date Changes & Transfers
Bookings may be amended up to 7 days prior to the original arrival date.
Date changes may be made once per booking and are subject to availability. Amendments cannot be made within 7 days of arrival.
